Important Information on Airfill Balloons
All Mylar Balloons 14" and under are Airfill balloons and require heat sealing (see instructions below). They do not float if filled with helium. This is the same across all North American balloon manufacturers. Balloons 18" and larger are typically filled with helium so they float and have self sealing valves inside and therefore do not require heat sealing.

Instructions for balloons for airfill balloons 14" or smaller in size.

Balloons 14" and under require heat sealing. If you do not own a heat sealer you can alternatively use flat iron hair straighter or curling iron on the lowest setting. Cover the ends of the hair straighter with aluminum foil to avoid damaging it. Fill the balloon with room temperature or cooler air (not with your mouth) using a bike pump etc.. and then seal the end using the heat sealer or hair straighter.
