Shipping and Returns

What are the shipping charges, taxes and shipping times?

U.S.-

No taxes are charged at checkout.

Shipping to mainland U.S. is $8.92 flat rate per order.  Shipping to HI, PR, AK and other U.S. territories is $10.92 (under approx 3.3 Lbs) and $15.92 (over approx 3.3 lbs).  We pay all additional shipping charges. All efforts are made to ship any order placed online the same or next business day.  However, orders cannot be shipped on weekends, or local or national holidays.

Express shipping is typically next business day to most of the U.S. with exception of some very rural areas and HI, PR, AK.  However, we consider it a 2 day service just in case there are errors by the courier company so please leave 2 days for delivery although 99% of the time delivery is next day.  The cost is $8.92 extra (mainland U.S.) per every 200 18" balloons (approx 60-75 Jumbos) or equivalent weight.  The charge is calculated at checkout.  We cannot express ship weights or ribbon. 

Orders Over $30.00 including shipping costs to Mainland U.S.

Shipping is by courier when the order is over $30.00 including shipping costs.  Courier orders are expected to arrive within 3-5 business days after shipping.  Tracking is e-mailed to the e-mail address you provide to us. 

Orders under $30.00 including shipping costs to Mainland U.S. are shipped by airmail post.  Delivery is expected within 3-7 business days. Airmail post cannot be tracked, but it is sent fully insured for loss or damage, but it is extremely rare for anything to go missing-no more so than through a courier.  Please advise us in the comments section during checkout if you are working on a very tight time schedule and we will choose the courier best able to meet the time schedule.

HI, PR, AK, P.O. Boxes and APO and U.S. Territories

Orders under approx. 3.3 Lbs are shipped by airmail post.  Delivery takes 4-10 business days (6-17 to U.S. territories). Medium size and larger orders (typically over 80 18" balloons) to HI, PR, AK, P.O. Boxes or APO are shipped guaranteed service within 2-6 business days.    P.O. Boxes and APO boxes can only be delivered to by airmail post.

Canada- Shipping to anywhere in Canada is $8.92 Canadian flat rate per order.  We pay all additional shipping charges. All efforts are made to ship any order placed online the same or next business day.  However, orders cannot be shipped on weekends, or local or national holidays. Delivery is expected within 2-6 business days.  Orders are shipped Purolator Courier or UPS with the exception of those areas where special fees exist to deliver to you by courier (for example rural surcharges).  All orders where courier surcharges apply are shipped Canada Post.  Tracking is e-mailed to the e-mail address provided to us at time of ordering.  GST will be charged on all Canadian orders. PST is charged where applicable.  For customers claiming PST exemption we must have a PST Exemption Certificate on file before the order ships.  The form is completed online at the time of placing the order.

International

International orders are shipped by airmail post or by courier whichever is cheaper.  Delivery is 3-6 business days by courier and up to 16 business days by airmail post.  We cannot guarantee delivery times on international orders.  We do not collect taxes, but your customs may ask you to pay taxes and fees to collect them.  We cannot control that.

Returns

You can return anything purchased for a full refund less shipping costs as long as we receive notification of your intention to return goods within 60 business days by e-mail.  We reserve the right to refuse seasonal product, although in most cases we will not do so.  Return instructions will be provided by e-mail once we respond to your intention to return goods.

Damaged Goods

We pack all goods to avoid damages in shipping.  If goods are damaged in shipping you need to notify us by e-mail within 3 days of receiving the goods so we can help resolve the matter.  We only sell goods from quality manufacturers.  The majority of our balloons are made in the U.S.A. with the exception of a few designs made in Europe.  Therefore, we are able to guarantee the quality of everything we sell.  This guarantee is void where you do not use the proper mylar balloon inflator with automatic shut-off to blow up the balloons.  The portable one time use helium tanks found at discount stores or party stores are often not capable of filling mylar balloons properly even when they say they are.  We will replace or refund damaged goods at our option.
